Today we successfully completed three admission interviews for students applying for scholarships to our school. In this category, where the family is living below the poverty line, the entire tuition fee for the child is sponsored. Ie the full academic year and meals are covered by L’Ecole Des Enfants through individuals stepping up to become sponsors through donations. Our first sponsor of a full year’s scholarship for the amount of $1.200 is Jessica Ruth who has been a generous supporter towards our school since the beginning of the project. It’s through such acts of kindness that we can offer this incredible opportunity of a Waldorf inspired education to a part of the population in Côte d’Ivoire that would not even go to school would it not be for this possibility.
