Updated: Jan 25, 2023

Katlyn comes to the board with over 20 years of experience working with children and families in a variety of roles and positions. She started her career as a nanny, then as a classroom teacher in Detroit, Michigan, New Hampshire, and Massachusetts, now as a certified healer and spiritual guide in the mystery school tradition, as well as a homeschool transition coach for families through Waldorf methods.

In December 2022 Katlyn graduated from Antioch University New England with a Masters of Education: Waldorf teacher specialty. She also participated in Torin Finser’s Waldorf Administration program during her masters studies. Her masters thesis is titled Learning as Life: Empowering Leadership for the Guardians of Childhood and covers key topics for the needs of children, parents, and education and how Waldorf education exceeds those needs especially with personal spiritual development.

This year Katlyn will be fulfilling another dream of hers: to become a mother, as her and her husband will be welcoming their son earthside February 2023. She’s very excited to join the L’Ecole Des Infants team!
