It is a tremendous joy to announce that Thomas McDonnell joins L’Ecole des Enfants as our North America Events Manager. Thomas is a rare and precious gem that does his work with an infectious passion and professionalism. He also embodies the strong traits of a genuine team player. Thomas is also a graceful gentleman in his way of carrying out his work, which is a great representation of our organization’s values of integrity and high quality. A few words from Thomas:
“Hi, my name is Thomas McDonnell. I am a 26 year graduate of the University of New Hampshire, where I completed my Master's degree in Business, as well as being the captain of the Men's Basketball team. Growing up as the son of a Social Worker, my Mother always installed in me just how important it is to give back to those who have less, so during my time in school I was able to start working with several non profits. My passion started here, and translated into my career today, as I am a currently a Financial Advisor at Morgan Stanley, that specializes in helping Professional Athletes handle their money safely. I also am a full time member of the non-profit Best Buddies, which works with mentally & physically challenged individuals to help them succeed in all areas of life. I couldn't be more excited to be joining the L'ecole Des Enfants team. From the minute I met Maria, I was able to understand just how important the work she (and the entire team) are doing, and her passion for the work is what drove me to want to be a part of it. As the North American Events Manager, I hope that I can bring great energy and ethusiasm to the organization, as well as helping coordinate, plan, and execute events starting with our 2018 Boston Spring Gala in just a few weeks.”
